Decent iCube Pro, few small issues
I decided to try the iCube Pro 5W as my first laser engraver, and it's been mostly good. The setup was fairly straightforward, and I was able to start engraving quickly. The machine itself is quite compact and the enclosure is a nice touch for safety. My main gripe was that the instructions could have been clearer on a couple of steps, I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out one part. Also, the power cable felt a little short for my workspace. But for the price, it's a solid entry-level machine and performed well on plywood and leather patches. Overall, a good experience, but room for minor improvements in documentation and cable length.
Got the Honeycomb Table
So I finally got around to getting the Honeycomb Working Table for my engraver. It really helps with keeping things flat and getting cleaner cuts, which I didn't expect to make such a big difference. Shipping was okay, took about 8 days to reach my place in Texas. The table feels sturdy. No complaints, it does what it's supposed to. Made my engraving setup a bit nicer.
